USB 3.0 speed confusion

I need a USB3.0-extension cable, but I'm questioning whether it supports "superspeed" or just "highspeed" data transfer.
Just about every USB3.0 cable I've found has "USB / Hi-Speed USB / USB 3.0" in their specifications, and some also claim to be "Super Speed 5Gbps bi-directional data transfer supported"
I am buying an internal-USB3.0 to USB3.0 female adapter + a USB3.0 female to USB3.0 male extension cable, to connect with a USB3.0 Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate (write/read: 70/150 MBs), how would I get the best possible transfer speeds with this setup?
Cheers

Hi :)

Yes lol, well sort of.... what makes you think that the KINGSTON will ever reach that speed, considering what I said earlier ?

Oh and I sell Kingston stuff in my shops... good kit...

All the best Brett :)

usb 3.0 supports speeds up to 625 MB/s (hard limit) and yes, every device strive to get speeds near that speed, highest recorded is 250MB/s as of right now (I read).
Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate has tested its speeds for 70/150 MB/s, I trust their claims :)

Hi :)

Lol, you trust a manufacturer.. ok well, test it when you have them... :)

Oh and those so called test speeds DEPEND on file type..... not YOUR type of files, the type that show up best in tests ...

All the best Brett :)

I will, but I see that Linus has tested another one rated 120/180 at 80/170,
I expect write/read speeds around 45/140MB/s

Thanks for the help!
