Long story. My power supply failed and killed my mobo and gpu. Bought a new mobo, power supply, and gpu. Everything boots up fine but I only get a black screen when my gpu is in the slot, even if the monitor is still hooked up to the integrated graphics. When I remove it completely from the mobo, the picture works fine.

I deleted all my old graphics drivers. I downloaded the Radeon graphics drivers.

Motherboard: MSI G41M-P33 Combo
GPU: Diamond Radeon HD 6450
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 430w

I did. I actually took it off to start windows with the graphics card in the slot. Either way, I still can't find a way to get video on my monitor with it connected to the graphics card. It only works with integrated graphics. I'd say it's a problem with the card itself but I just got it. I guess I can just return it and try another.
