I swapped for a second mobo and power supply same thing happend this time the pc turned off after 3 seconds...I returned both and got a third mobo becus i used different power supply and ram.

still problem occured so i thought only the motherboards was a defo problem. with the third mobo my pc finally started up booted up on screen HARAAAY!!

however now the problem is whenever i boot from cd to install windows 7 the windows logo shows but doesnt load up into installation and partiction page etc just stuck on the windows logo then reboots itself to gigabye start up. Try with SSD only connected, and try with onboard graphics. Get that radeon out and unplugg that HDD.

Also.. don't know which Windows version you are using, but i had same problem recently when i tried to install old RC windows 7 version.

i have tried with only the ssd and with out gpu still the same problm however i am ashamed to say all the cds ive been using are pirates copies.... however again people have told me it doesnt make a difference the only time it would make a difference to installation would be after when your connected to the internet... I hve ordered a genuine copy to see if it would make a difference, are you sure the cd could be a problem???

It does not anything to do with pirated or genuine. It can have something with version of windows. Release candidate, retail, oem... Try to install on HDD drive without SSD.

I really don't see why would it be CPU.

If it's OEM versione then it menas it's final version and that's ok.

Can you please download any kind of Linux distro and try to install it? Use let's say some old Backtrack 3 (one cd) if you have somewhere to donwload it and try with it please so we could rule out possible DVD disk/drive failure or simply software failure of somekind.

yes i just tried to boot linux from usb drive same thing happend it boots up then freezes and goes back to the gigabyte start up page.... so annoying i tried the same usb and all the windows cd on my laptop they booted up just fine.... im so sure its my processor becuase i read on a few forums that they had been experiencing familiar problems, whereby they solved it by buying another cpu or reinstalling it properly into the socket... I t could also be ram but i tested different ram and same thing happend... but hey i can be wrong... Any ideas??? please help thank you
