I had an old computer that was in need of an upgrade, but I kept pushing it...
One day, the computer didn't start anymore. I checked a little things and decided that everything was too old to spend too much time on it, so I went on Amazon and bought new parts. So now my configuration is the following:

The new parts bought this week:
Processor intel i5-3570k LGA 1155
Motherboard ASROCK z77 extreme 6
RAM CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 2x4gb
1 DH SSD 128gb Samsung sata3
1HD western 500gb sata 3

The old parts kept from the last PC
1 Hd Western 1TB sata 2
Placa video ATI HD5450
1 gravador blu-ray LG
I power supply 450w (no brand)

So today, I started to put everything together. I then turn it on for the 1st time. It started and stopped within 3seconds, then started again and went trough with windows 7 installation.

In the end of the installation, it stopped once again. I restarted it once again and worked perfectly.
I then start to install drivers, programs, .... All my HD were not yet recognized, the old one showed only 1 partition and the new one didn't appear. The usb3 onboard were not yet working.

I am pretty sure I installed: Firefox, flash and acrobat reader, onboard sound drivers, onboard LAN driver, onboard intel usb3 drivers (wich didn't solved my problem with those), my video card drivers (that I had to go find manually on the cd, the autorun of the cd was giving errors code) and that' about it!

During this time, I had to restart the CPU various time, sometimes it went on the first time, sometimes it took 2 or 3 times (boot and turned off, then again)

I was installing my antivirus (avast pro) and restarted the CPU. From then, the computer was not booting at all. LEDs and fan working for 3seconds and turn off, and this continually until I turned off the power supply and remove the plug.

From then, I haven't succeed in desktop booting again. I can boot with windows cd in, then launch repairs but it doesn't find anything.
The error code I have from this is StatusRepairOffline.

I tried to unplug everything from the CPU, even hd and drives and leaving only 1 ram, and it started fine. Then plugged everything one by one. I couldn't find something that clearly showed that was not working.

Well, I tried to be as specific as I could. Thanks a lot for those who will spend time reading this, and the other ones that will help and answer.

thanks for your answer. What I don't get, why it would have worked once today if the problem is the power supply?
Tomorrow, I'll get a new one.. Any recommendation of power?

Just bought a Corsair CX600 and worked again... Thanks again for your help... It also resolved the problems of the USB3 port that were not working.
