I'm building a new PC and can't decide on motherboard. I've read mixed reviews on the gigabyte.
Pro's and Con's?
Any thoughts?

I have done builds with both those motherboards.I think the asus v pro is better but the GIGABYTE...

I have done builds with both those motherboards.I think the asus v pro is better but the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H is a great mobo as well.I just do not like GIGABYTE bios.I prefer asus.However i cannot say that one is better then the other.

Some people are happy with their UD5's and the boards look great. Problem is there has been a lot of people having problems with random freezing and lockups with this board.I think that was fixed through a bios update. Anyways comparing the two Audio:
