I have a new PSU i got from newegg. Corsair HX750, I am going to add 2 fans for the 2 slots I have for optional case fans.
My question is what fans does the HX750 support I couldn't find if it only fits 3 pin case fans or 4 case fans? Also can I use a 3 pin case fan on this PSU or will the port be different for a 3 pin?
I read you can use the 3 pin on a 4 pin case fan but I wasnt sure of which type this PSU uses and if both types will work with this PSU. thanks.

Solution
that case looks to have a built in fan controller to control the fans it comes with

so you should have plenty of spare connectors on your mother board to connect additional fans

Ok Im kinda new to building I have all the parts was gonna buy case fans though cuz i have 2 more slots and I wasnt sure what to do. My friend said that he got case fans and connected them to his PSU, so I wasnt sure if I should buy the 3 or 4 pins. My molex cables for the PSU are 4 pin but I was wondering if the 3 pins will work or what would be the best thing to do? Id like to order fans tonight if possible.

I have a HX750 power supply which is modular, and a sabertooth Z77 motherboard. Im not sure of the specifics but my case is the Antec 1200 v3 and can have a max of 8 fans with 6 fans that came with the case. I dont know about case fans much never really messed with them.
