I have been trying to test a FreeNAS flash drive i made on my Precision 390, but the darn thing won't boot from the flash drive at all. I know the flash drive works because i tested it in a newer Precision and a laptop, but this guy won't. I checked the BIOS, and i enabled USB device in the boot order, but next to it, it reads [not available]. I'm guessing that's why it won't boot, from how can i get that to go away and work? Thanks

Pre-built computers often place tighter restrictions on the BIOS than you'd find with a motherboard you bought separately for a custom build. I'm guessing you just encountered one of the restrictions, which would mean you'd need to change the motherboard to successfully boot from that flash drive.
