I have an 4170 overclocked to 4.2ghz with stock fan, when playing battlefield 3 for around 45mins i see temperatures of 182*c, when looking on hardware monitor.
This was not happening until i changed my motherboard, by i have the exact same board my other mobo was faulty so i got a new now temps seem to be very when play BF3 by the way this does not happen on any other game i play like arma 2, simcity ect.
does anyone know why.

i'm sure you are not experiencing temps like on Mars sunny side
