So I am using a 7850 and my buddy decided to give me his gtx 590 classified since he got a new card and for some reason the 590 runs games worse than my 7850. I updated drives and all that and cant seem to figure out what the issue is. Anyone have some advice or input on this?

What kind of PSU do you have? Model and manufacturer?
GTX590 is monster GPU and requires a lot of power. 7850 is nowhere near it.

Try to switch Nvidia physx to CPU or vice versa, and maybe 590 will perform better. Also check online what are the best drivers for BF3.
Make sure you are on stock clocks, that no 3rd party software has downclocked it. 590gtx must perform better than 7850

I will plug it back in and try it out and let you know how it goes. One more question...would it cause a problem for me to leave the 590 plugged into the mobo as long as there is no power running to it with the 7850 still in the mobo? I am getting sick of breking the case open and changing stuff around lol.
