Hello,
My set up:
Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
CPU: i5-3570k
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Plus
PSU: Seasonic 750X
This is my first time overclocking and I achieved 4.0GHz with stock voltages, I get temps around the 62-65C during prime 95 testing. My problem is that when I try to bump up the multiplier in the BIOS by 1 (say 4.1GHZ aim) and run a prime test, the CPU runs @ 4.1GHz for about 3 minutes that resets back to 4.0GHz. I have the voltages at: Turbo +0.004 and offset +0.005. Voltage readings on CPU-Z during prime testing stays @ 1.160
Should I start slowly bumping the voltages and running prime?
