Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week or ASAP

Budget Range: (e.g.: 800-900£) Before Rebates; Before Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (gaming, watching movies, surfing the internet, Folding@Home)

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, at least min 2 HDMI ports.

Parts to Upgrade: none this is a new build

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, not to keen on Windows 8 so preferably Windows 7, unless someone can sway me

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: site, any other good value parts from other sites welcome)

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom

Parts Preferences: Not to bothered as long as they all combine together and work.

Overclocking: Maybe, i vaguely understand this but im not to sure if its a good or bad idea

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, again as above my understanding on this is a bit vague

Your Monitor Resolution: upgtrading would probaly go for 1920x1080, with a size of 23-24 inch.

Additional Comments: I've never built a PC before so this is my first build. As stated my primary function would be for games like: Battlefield, Skyrim, Fifa, etc. Since this is my first Desktop PC, I will also need all the basic peripherals.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Never had a desktop before, but always wanted one, building a PC would also help broaden my knowledge of PCs helping with my Uni degree.
