MY graphic card is not working

Hi,
i bought

my motherboard is HP 945 GCT
i bought that without knowing that it will not work on my system
the technician said that i have a ddr2 motherboard and that specific motherboard doesnt accept ddr3 graphic cards even though i have a pci -e x16 slot
So somebody expert guy can tell me by any way i can run that on my pc

The type of memory the motherboard supports does not affect what memory the video card uses. The card should work fine. The 5450 has a low power requirement and should work with power supplies.

Yes, that 'technician' is utterly clueless. What ram the motherboard uses (DDR2) has no connection with what the vid card uses.
