wont post sometimes

Hi guys. I just finished a new build and when i start her up i get a black screen. The black screen displays a 9D in the bottom right hand corner. When i hit the reset it boots up fine.

MSI Z77A-G41
i7 3770K
Corsair vengence 1600 2x8gb
EVGA 660ti sc
Corsair neutron gtx 240gb
Corsair GS600 PSU

*update* i noticed the clock doesnt keep the right time

The clock might be enabled through the internet clock setting, disable that feature.
Date/Time > Properties > Adjust Date/Time > Internet time "Change Settings" > disable synchronize with Internet.

If you have turned off the PC at the power point at any time after you have adjusted the Date/Time to current then it could be a flat cmos battery to which you will need to replace.

If you can't get any POST display, your monitor may have been set at a reslution too low for the current build specs, you might try to adjust the monitor resolution on the monitor itself to soabout 14440 x 900 or higher then when you get ecerything working properly, you will have to reset to default (on the monitor) then use your control panel to set the proper resolution to suit yourself and the hardware.
