Nvidia Drivers download issue? Firefox security?

Hey I've been trying to download the new 314.22 drivers from Nvidia's website (I also tried EVGAs website) and every time it finishes the file just vanishes. I assume this is because of some security feature built into the browser (Which I do not know how disable).

Does anybody know a way around this?? :S

I not heard of a feature with firefox deleting downloaded files, you could try downloading with another browser and see if it works. If it does then try re installing firefox.

I figured it out...

in the browser type "about:config"
Search for Scan
then change the value of "browser.download.manager.Scanwhendone" to false

If that fixed your problem good but you might what to check a little further because the file from Nvidia is not infected and Firefox should not have deleted it so you have something else going on. I just re downloaded it from Nvidia without turning off the Firefox virus scan plus I have MSE installed and had no problems at all.

I think it was just a false positive, Kaspersky couldn't detect anything.
