I also have a few more questions; is the PSU overkill? Should I upgrade to 1866 RAM? Is that CPU cooler worth the money (Is it any better than stock)?
Thanks.

CPU is bottlenecking the 7950. PSU is fine, good for overclocking or future crossfire. 1600 Mhz RAM to 1866 Mhz makes no difference. CPU cooler is worth the money and is a lot better than stock. Get an Intel CPU.

the stock coolers are better than what Intel puts out but after market is better.

PS: better to go overkill than to only get "what is necessary" as many uninformed people do. Machines will always run more efficient.

1600 is fine.

bottleneck........ what is your monitor/resolution?....... and regardless, mostly notice Intel having better frame rates than AMD......... but AMD is a little better than Intel when some games are multi threaded. I think that's how i would like to try and explain it...???

PSU is a bit overkill a 500w would benefit you.

1866mhz ram really is not worth the extra $10.

Probably the best CPU cooler for the money out there... it's way better than stock.

There should not be to much of a bottle neck by the CPU, though the i3 2330 may be a bit better, you should look into that based on the game you are playing.

Okay, thanks everyone, I'm going to be using a 1600x900 screen until I get the money for a 1920x1080. I'm going to be mainly playing Minecraft, ARMA II/DayZ, Battlefield 3 and maybe GTA5 when it's out, I'm not bothered about getting anywhere over 40 fps in any game, I can't tell the difference above 40.

It will run fine! a 6300 will not bottleneck a 7950. Especially if you are planning on overclocking the 6300 at all. Also the the fx-6300 will crush the i3. and to recommend the 2330? So, not a good recommendation. im pretty sure that the i3-2330"m" is a laptop processor. Which is also locked and cant even be overclocked.

You are not wrong. There absolutely would be no bottleneck.

Thanks, oh please god don't let this thread turn into AMD vs Intel vs nVidia, I will be overclocking the CPU a little bit.
