PowerColor HD 7950 PCS+ or Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Ti Windforce 2X OC

Hello everyone. I'm about to build a new PC for gaming purpose (most likely something like Battlefield 3 and 4, Far Cry 3) and I need a little bit help with choosing a graphic card. My budget is about 850 euros (around $1000). Based on my investigation, there shouldn't be dramatic difference between HD 7950 PCS+ and GTX 660 Ti OC. At this time, however, GTX 660 Ti OC is about $13 cheaper in MindFactory. Should I go with it, or is there reasons to prefer HD 7950 PCS+ instead? I'm planning to build this on Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 with FX 6300 or 4300 processor.

Without much difference in performance, I'd be tempted to go with the Gigabyte card to 'match' the motherboard - keep a theme there

Thank you, Friedman. Can you, or someone else, tell me which one performs better overclocked? Is it possible to compare?

They're both 'boosted' past reference specs for the cards but Tom's has the HD7950 listed as the better value in the $300 range. I have no clue which OC's better, I do know I'm happy with my HD7950's performance over the past year

Thank you again. It appears, according to Guru3d.com's review, that they both overclocks quite nicely, and there doesn't seem to be a big difference here. OC'd HD 7950 PCS+ gets higher fps in Crysis 2, whereas OC'd GTX 660 Ti OC scores better in 3DMark11.
