Hello guys, right now i am recording at 1080p on an 4900 rpm green hdd (epic fail lol)
and i always thought it was my cpu's fault.(i5 3rd gen)

Now i know there are probably a million different HDD's out there and same with SDD's so i am just going to select a few i have my eyes on at a cheap price. And if you guys could, tell me which one is better for my money and of course, FRAPs

Ill let you guys decide now on which one is better. Also to actually answer this question. Say you had a amazing budget, which one IS actually better for fraps, a HDD or a SDD?

thank you guys for reading :)

Thank you, because i was hearing stupid stuff such as "Write speeds on an SDD are SLOW"

ill make sure to get a good modern SDD later down the line.

Thank you for the quick reply, one thing i forgot to mention is i am going to be using this HDD as a Seperate drive JUST for recording, so is 7200 rpm enough for that?

I have done Fraps on a 5000RPM HDD before but not a 7200, I had some issues on the 5000RPM you can go to youtube and ask some people who do video recording from game some of them are really responsive and will answer your question. I can recall a name from BF3 i think it was irontjunfisk google him he has a youtube channel and answers questions.
