Hello all, first time builder here.

I used a setup I saw recommended by elitegaming computers

Intel Core i5-3570k
AS Rock LGA1155 Intel Z77
EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD SATA 6
Corsair Builder Series CX 600

So after I put everything together, I turned the pc on and I thought everything was going fine. I needed it to boot from my optical drive so I restarted. The second time however, no input for my monitor (no beep).

I reconfigured everything to make sure everything is in the right spot. I tried breadboarding, and my motherboard stops beeping after I put the RAM on it.

Is it possible my memory was faulty? I'm skeptical about this because it did boot the first time but I'm still fairly new to this so what do I know.

Also, might I mention my usb plug for my wireless mouse got stuck on the usb port? I didn't even realize this was even physically possible, how the hell do I get it out?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, I've read and reread the manuals. I've always thought RAM were usually in the 1st and 3rd spots. But that's irrelevant as the manual states they can be in 1,3 / 2,4 spots. So I don't think that is it.
