I would only go for any other full tower case, more space, easier approach, more air (more dust LOL).
Full tower addict :)

You could save $100 if you bought an i5-3570K instead. It performs very similarly to the i7 and you can overclock both to a stable 4.5 GHz. Also, you could save a further $50 by opting for an air cooler if you weren't OC'ing above 4.5 GHz or so.

If you're going to crossfire in the future you may want to consider a slightly bigger PSU.

Thanks for the feedback, i will keep the thread open for any more suggestions.

That is a very interesting case to say the least, but as far as I can tell it wont support a H100i. I can only see a rear 120mm mount and what looks like an 80mm mount at the top. Nowhere for a H100i to go without some modding.

The 750W is perfect for Crossfire later on IMO, I actually say if you aren't going too, downgrade to a 550-650W PSU.

Since a full tower is just out of my price range, would you think a aero-cool strike-X advanced would allow the h100i to fit? it does have 2 120mm mounts at the front, but i would just like to double check.

Thanks, i couldn't help but notice your build is very similar to mine, any suggestions whilst building this build, are all the parts good quality with each other? BTW this is my first build ever and i might need some help with cable management.

The parts are all good quality and are appropriate for the intent of the rig (gaming) if you'v changed the CPU to a 3570k (could also halve the RAM as well).

Suggestions...
- Have a lot of workspace when building this, think an entire dinner table worth of space.
- Observe proper ESD measures, wear a strap.
- The Extreme4 is slightly smaller than ATX size, the far right mounting holes on the board wont line up with your case. Don't worry about it.

Cable management is a time consuming process, and time spent is directly proportional to how OCD you are .
At minimum, you want the cables out of any airflow paths, this will help airflow and reduce dust buildup.
If you have a side-panel window, you want as little cable as possible to be seen through the window.
If your truly OCD, then you will attempt to fight the rats nest that always forms behind the mobo tray and make that all neat and tidy. I'v personally tried and failed, but it is possible.

This tutorial is a pretty good guide on how to do cable management.

You might also want to post a couple pics of the rig in the Systems Gallery, the resident cable management elite hang out there and will give a multitude of tips and ... encouragement... to clean up any cables.
