Hi,
So for some reason, after playing either 1-3 matches of Mechwarrior: online, or 30-45 minutes on other games like Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2, the GPU fan goes up to 100%, the monitor goes black, the amber light comes on (on Monitor), and then a red light goes on in the card.
On occasion this occurs in the process of booting up.
So my system specs are as follows:
Gateway FX6800-01e
i7 920 @2.67
HD 5770 Sapphire GPU (not stock) Original was HD 4850
3x2gb Corsair Ram (6) (Not Stock, orignal was 3gb)
x58 Chipset
Seagate 1TB HDD
Win7 Home x64bit
Stock 500watt PSU (I believe)
Please help, I don't know whether to replace the graphics card or the power supply!!
