Ive seen this a lot on the net but none of the solutions have helped so far.
I just took the plunge to build my first pc. I have put it all together, following the manual and when i turn it on, the 3 fans (cpu, gpu, case) turn on, i hear a couple clicks but i get no signal on my monitor.

I have a Gigabyte 780T-USB3
AMD FX6300
Radeon HD 6670
8gb kingston DDR3 ram.

The mobo is dual channel, so could it be an issue that im only using 1x8gb. Should i get another 8gb?

I really hope if havent damaged anything in the building process. Ive been so excited about this and now im super gutted.

Any help or advice would be brilliant.

Thanks

If this is your first build, there is a chance that something was not plugged in properly, either the RAM or the GPU are the obvious culprits. If your Mobo/CPU supports integrated graphics, see if removing the GPU and running integrated graphics fixes the problem. Then, make sure the RAM is firmly installed. Actually, do the RAM first.

Another issue might be your forget to plug a power cable into your motherboard or GPU.

ive gone through everything. unplugged it all and started again. Ram and GPU are in securely. My mobo doesnt have integrated graphics unfortunately. My Gpu doesnt have a socket to be plugged in to...I assume it just runs off the mobo power?

Thanks for the repy atlantic.

I really dont know what to do.
