Does 6420 Dell support an External graphics card for gaming?

I have a 2 CPU Dell 6420 with 2 gigs, a fairly old computer. I want to know if this computer will support an external graphics card? Games will not run and DELL techincal support doesn't seem to know if the graphics card is permanently attached. I prefer to purchase an external graphics card at this time. Thanks for your help.

need more info....this is the desktop or laptop (my searches show laptop)...if laptop your stuck with what you have. if desktop open the case and tell me what power supply you have and its wattage also if you have a PCIe slot available on your motherbaord.
