Need to get an advice about GPU's!

Hi people,
I'm returning back to my PC from my laptop and thought of upgrading it to get smoother gameplay's and video playback.
My current PC specs are-
PROCESSOR: Intel Pentium D 2.66Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8400gs
RAM: 2 Gigs (DDR2)
HARD DRIVE: 580GB
MOBO: Asus p5kpl-am/ps:

My Power Supply is of 230 Watts.

I want to upgrade my GPU to ATI Radeon HD5570:

Will the Radeon work with my current PC specs?
Also advice on how to remove my older GPU and installing the newer one!

buddy the first rule of gpu upgrades are: can my psu handle an upgrade? and will my cpu be bottlenecked?

the 5570 requires a 500w psu and with 2 gb of ram you will be bottlenecked. so your psu will go poof and your poor cpu will struggle with your ram. poor upgrade.

Well i can upgrade the PSU (it says 400w and not 500w) and the ram upto 4GB.
What now?
