My wife finds it useful to extend her display beyond her laptop screen and to include the syncmaster. She is an accountant and can drag and drop from various spreadsheets onto her current work in progress. Recently she has upgraded her laptop. However it does not have a DVI output (Doh!)but does have HDMI.
The Syncmaster is too old (but pefectly serviceable)for HDMI so I bought an HDMI to DVI cable.
This did not work. Will I have to buy a new display or is there another solution?
Or have I missed something?
