Hi, I have a problem with one of the older computers I have, it is a Intel Core2 Duo E6550 2,3 GHz, 2 GB DDR2 ram, integrated gpu, made by Lenovo, model here.

The monitor does not come back on no matter what after overnight, but the LAN lights occasionally blink. (computer *is* on, but screen does not come up, also logmein displays it as offline)

No no, I use this monitor for two computers one the one I mentioned, the other a new one with Radeon HD 7700 blah blah, it works great, monitor is fine connected to my main, it has been on for weeks. :)

HOW are you connecting it to 2 machines ?

KVM switch ? it could be faulty.....

Umm, I unplug the monitor cable from one computer to another to switch? The thing is, one always turns on, the other doesn't. And I just tried it on another monitor straight, doesn't turn on.

Huh? No, I tried it on both monitors, the "problem" computer doesn't work on both monitors, but both work on my "new" built computer.

EDIT: I know it isn't the monitor I think... both computers DO work on both monitors, but it doesn't come back on after overnight.

I ran P95 for 12 hours, it was good but monitor turned off(as usual after about that time) memtest ran good for 24 hours, how do I test gpu and psu? btw... integrated gpu only has DX 8 and OpenGL 1.5.... no furmark.. :(
