Hi,

Im currently trying my first gaming rig (hopefully not to many mistakes in this one...) and ive decided on the following parts, but ive no idea what mobo to go for, i find that everyday i change my mind so ive decided to leave it blank for this one in the hope that you guys could help me out?
Im flexible on the budget but around £250 would be the limit.

Any and all advice as to what to get would be appreciated. From the following list the only things that i havent got is the memory and the second graphics card.

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£236.62 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 45.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing (£23.21 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (£40.03 @ Ebuyer)
Storage: Corsair Force Series GS 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (£90.41 @ Ebuyer)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire) ~£150 each
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (£86.98 @ Dabs)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) (£104.35 @ CCL Computers)

Total: £581.60+£300 from the video card

Cheers!

I would only want one GPU for one monitor. If I were going to game on 3 then I'd SLI/Crossfire. And with 3 monitors I'd prefer more than 2GB GPUs.

I'd rather have the Cooler Master Evo.

Memory should be 2 x4gb but 1600 not 1333.

Motherboard. Pupular ones: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 , Asus P8Z77-V LK. Both will overclock close to the same.

Im only going to use one monitor, so one graphics card it is and ill relook at the memory.Cheers!

In regards to mobo, is there any justifications to buying more expensive ones? Or is this a sort of diminishing returns thing that happens in all hardware?

@ballerslife
long story short, wanted to upgrade my computer and started ordering stuff before i thought properly about what i needed.
