For the past few days my graphics card (GTX 560) has been running at 98% for no reason. I'm not watching a movie nor playing a game. Even just having my PC at the desktop it still maxes itself out. I updated the driver thinking this would help it but it only worked for a couple days. Now its back to doing the same. Please help. It'll become annoying having to reinstall my driver everyday.

Do a fresh install of the driver. Get driversweeper, uninstall old driver, shut down PC, boot up PC and don't allow microsoft to auto install the driver, run driversweeper, than install a freshly downloaded, up to date non beta driver. Other than that...dunno

Also noticed that my cpu was running over 25%. Even idle at desktop with usual background apps running it usually only runs at about 2-5%. Checked my task manager and it said that the explorer was using 25% alone but i was doing nothing. Could this be connected?

Read up on bitcoin mining and I'm going see if this is the problem next time by pulling my ethernet. If my gpu is being used remotely it will be cut off for the moment like this correct?

Not necessarily.

maybe, but if your computer is given a calculation or task then it will continue to do it, i don't think it really cuts off on removal of the network cable. try booting up in safe mode and look at all the processes in task manager, anything unusual then look at where the executable is located and then let us know.

When i went into task manager it said explorer.exe was doing all the work. Opened the file locations and it took me to C:/Kernal/drivers. Didn't see anymore executables.
