At christmas i got a sapphire 7850 2gb oc card, new psu and ram for my pc. Now i have started to game with it more i find that it crashes pretty much everytime i play any game. I can stay on a game like ftl: faster than light for as long as i want but now ive started playing bioshock, simcity and civ 5 it keeps crashing. The monitor will go into stand by mode and say no input, the pc will lose the sound and stop responding and needs shutting down by the power button. my specs are
CPU Type AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 970, 3500 MHz (17.5 x 200)
Motherboard Asus M5A87 (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)
PSU OCZ ZS550W-UK ATX PSU - 550 W
GPU Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2gb OC edition
Ram 8Gb (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM)
OS Win7 home premium edition (64bit)
Hard drive Western Digital WD Black WD7502AAEX
I have tried installing the drivers again after booting in safe mode and cleaning them with driver sweeper. All my temps seem to be in a comfortable range, the cpu will be high 40s low 50s, while the gpu never gets above 55 degrees. I am really starting to pull my hair out now because i cant find the problem and i dont want a new pc because of all the money people have spent only a couple of months ago.
Any help would be wonderful because like i said im really starting to lose it now.
