Ok heres what I can do:

Id check out some other motherboards, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837

You could go with a better/larger ssd, so you could put your favorite games on there for faster loading times. Try ocz or samsung.

Graphics card definitely needs to be changed, so try 660ti, radeon 7870, or radeon 7950. All of which are great options.

Maybe check out a modular power supply, because they're cool.

Personally, I'd go with windows 7, because it is better for gaming (which i assume you are building this to do.)

You say you're trying to keep the cost at around $1500, but this build is only worth $1100. You could always go for some more luxury options, if you'd like.

Don't get z68, get z77 for ivy bridge.

You only need 8GB of ram at the maximum - it's enough to simultaneously run battlefield 3, photoshop, and 30 tabs in chrome.

Okay, at this point, I'm just going to redesign the build for you. For a gaming rig, the rule of thumb is to spend TWICE on the graphics card what you do on the processor. With that in mind, here's a much more comprehensive rig in which you aren't wasting any money and which will have much, much better performance:
