If you are doing 3D modelling make sure the program makes use of the GPU speed. Most of them require more RAM than speed. Meaning buy a cheaper card with 2GB and add at least another 4 to your system.

soo you think if i bite the bullet and give it 8GB of that RAM the system will handle itsself well in 3D modeling and gaming?
