The problem is that i plug in headphones in the front audio ports, it says I plugged something in there on the screen, but I don't hear anything through it. Whats the problem? Do you need my system specs to help?

I dont know what you mean but what happens is when I plug in my headphones a panel comes up to confirm I have plugged in headphones, and yes I cannot hear sound from the speakers while the headphones are plugged in.
