I have a 60gb SSD from Mushkin. In Windows it shows that it only has about 2.5gb of space left, even though it should have around 25gb of space. Does my SSD only have 2.5gb of space left or is there some sort of issue with what is being displayed?

Here is a link to an image of what I see:

Solution
type advanced settings in start and select settings if needed(defaults searches for programs).

Look for "View advanced system settings" . Sorry not on Win8 ATM, but should be similar to that.

Hit the Settings button under Performance
Select the Advanced tab
Select Change and set what you want.
Use Custom and set the min and max to the same. I personally and using 4096, but less should(1024 or 2048) work as well. You can also just move the page file over to the hard drive if you wish, but SSDs work well with the page file because they are fast at small random writes and reads compared to hard drives.

Windows 8 has some other features that used ssd space, But i never needed to switch them off.

Please not that with the powercfg -h off...
Looks like you may have left hibernate on and not reduced your page file.

This means you are loosing close to 2 x your computers memory(ram not hard drive or ssd) space from the SSD.

If you do not use hibernate disable it and open the command prompt and type "powercfg -h off" to remove that file. Then you can see if that helps. You can also reduce the page file size.

When I oped up my drives files I do not see the 6 files, even though in TreeSize it says that they are there. Are they hidden somehow or something?

I did "powercfg -h off" in the command prompt and that made my drive have 13.8 gb of space but how do I reduce the page file size?

Please not that with the powercfg -h off setting, Your fast boot(Log off + hibernate as shut down) will be turned off for Windows 8. A trade off I think is well worth it for SSD users. Should have mentioned it earlier, but did not see you on Win8
