Antec Earthwatts 650 vs Corsair CX750

My understanding is that the cx750 may output more power, but the earthwatts using higher quality parts and should last longer or be able to be pushed harder. However, psu's aren't my forte.

They are actually both very good supplies.

You are correct in your assumption. The CX series is Corsair's budget line and while they are very good budget power supplies they should be used as what they are. I would not use one in a higher end power hungry build. The Antec EA 650 is a very good unit made by Delta with a solid reputation.

Antec gets a 9/10 jonnyguru.

I was just comparing what I have vs what my brother has....bottom line, which one can handle a bigger system?

The CX 750 supplies more power. I just personally would not trust a CX series with a high load due to the use of cheap capacitors specifically Samxon caps that are known to fail easily.

Are you referring to the Antec Earthwatts Platinum? If so, Antec has better power stability but is not modular.
