That motherboard is just fine with that GPU. PCIe 3.0 is backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0 and the difference in speed is imperceptible with a single GPU anyway. Just get the new GPU for now and save your money for when the new Haswell CPU's come out. BTW the next gen graphics cards will likely be coming out around the end of this year so if you wait until then you could upgrade the whole build and see some pretty significant improvements in overall performance
