Gpu under load causes abrupt crash then computer auto-repowers with no display

I have abrupt system crashes where the machine powers off during gaming or stress testing (for furmark only). The motherboard light stays lit yet manually pressing the power button does nothing. Shortly after, the machine repowers while having no display. Simply pressing the reset button allows the machine to power on normally.

Everything is stock and I thoroughly dust my machine. I am using the Thermaltake v9 black widow case. Max temps for my gpu are 88C (furmark) and it is an EVGA GTX 560ti. I am running that on a XFX 650 watt psu. My cpu max temp is 52C (prime 95). Is my power supply failing to provide adequate power under load?

Solution
The power supply is most likely the problem though the wattage rating seems to be adequate. Perhaps it is defective. Could you swap it out as a test?

I have a thermaltake tr2 600 watt lying around. the 12v rail is 50amps. Would this be ok to test on?

Swapped it out with this known good psu and all works fine under oc scanner and furmark stress testing. My best guess is that the power supply is overheating, faulty, or cannot provide enough power under heavy load (gaming). Time to RMA and hope all is well with a replacement psu.

It was indeed the power supply. I sent it in for RMA and i just got an upgraded replacement from xfx. I stress tested it through evga oc scanner and furmark and it runs stable. In fact, it runs about 10C colder now since they gave me a modular power supply replacement.
