Pc is not working on graphics card installed

Hi,

I got a new graphics card and have installed in my PC. My pc ran for a few moment and then crashed. Now it is not even booting. But when i remove the card and insert back the old one, the PC mis booting and is working fine as it was earlier.

What is the issue... Please help..

It could be a power issue. (Yes I know this sounds retarted): check to see if you need to plug in an auxiliary into the graphics card. Also check the amperage needs of both the Graphics Card and check what your Power Supply output on the 12V rail

Agree with rmarier83, sounds like a power issue. Also when you get this sorted, remove the old drivers, even if staying with the same brand and install latest version.

GPU:: GeForce 9500 GT 1GB DDR2
Motherboard:: Biostar N68S3B
Ram:: 3 GB
i am trying to install GeForce GT610 2 GB

put old gpu and see what happens!

The old GPU is working fine.. The issue is with the new one..
