Hi. I have N55SF laptop i bought around the end of 2011. It is i5 model with gt 555m graphic driver.

With this laptop I was able to run games such as League of legends on full graphic or starcraft 2 on high to extreme settings. From around 3 months ago, It started to drop in frames significantly, and now it came to a point where i have to lower my graphic settings to get proper 60 frames.

Very rarely, my laptop's screen would fall to 1fps in game or at background, and the sound goes reaaaaaal slow and eventually freezes.

gpu is at around 60C, hdd at 35c,
temp 1, core 0 and core 1 is at 60c during playing sc2

There was one event where my brother hit computer real hard near where the hard drive is placed and computer froze after got hit. restating it did solve the problem, but it may seem the damage has made the computer slow? However this was around 5 months ago.

Do you have more than 20% space on your HDD?

Have you opened the back and cleaned out and accumulated dust?

It could be damage? What about your warranty?

+1 with envy's post:

- check for dust inside the laptop. if you can, get canned air (forget what it's called haha) and clean it out (if any)
- Defragment the hard drive? lots of files means slower loading times, causing stutters or even slow loading speeds
- any unnecessary processes running?
- ran a virus check?

Hit Ctrl + Shift + Esc : What is consuming your Memory? Too many processes running will slow things down. And the longer you have a computer the more programs you accumulate. You could upgrade the RAM.

so far ihave cleaned up the dust, and this was still happening after i formatted the whole system. The lag which is more like gitter while playing game atm. and now weird buzzing noise pops out for 1 second randomly.
