I bought a HIS Radeon 7850 to replace my old 5750. The motherboard is Intel DX58SO. The HIS card won't post if installed alone (using hdmi the monitor receives no signal, using dvi-vga converter it would freeze on the intel logo)
I've tried these combinations:
7850 alone on 1st PCIe
7850 alone on 2nd PCIe
7850 on 1st PCIe, 5750on 2nd PCIe
5750on 1st PCIe, 7850 on 2nd PCIe
Only the last one work, the computer would work normally with the 7850 as a secondary gpu (Without cross fire link)
The 5750alone on 1st PCIe works normally.
