What is wrong with my nVidia drivers?

So, here's the issue:
I have got Assassin's Creed; 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, and III on my PC. On my old video card, the AMD Radeon 6670 would give me a solid 60fps on all of the above games, without lag. My new card, the GTX 550Ti is not so much the same.
When I play Assassin's Creed Revelations, a box appears saying ACRSP.exe has stopped working - and I am unable to start the game. Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood load fine however - but when I play the games, I get severe fps drops, down to about 5 fps, every 2 or 3 seconds. So, I took it upon myself to update my nVidia drivers to 314.07 - this solved the problem! I was now getting 60-70 fps without any frame drops. It was all great.
However, I turned my PC off because I was going to bed. The next morning, I go to play my Assassin's Creed games - I have the exact same problem as before. So, I update my drivers again, ready to play - it works fine!
So cut the story short - here's the issue. Every time I want to play Assassin's Creed, I have to re-update my drivers to the exact same version that they are already on - otherwise it lags! It's as if my drivers reset themselves whilst I sleep!
Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it!
Thanks!!

Never heard this one before :)

Try to delete completely all drivers that you have for your Nvidia. Driver cleaner or something and clean them, don't allow windows to search online for drivers. Get CC cleaner to fix registry and do a clean new install of your latest drivers.

Best regards :)
