Hi ! The problem as incredible that it can sound ( or be readed XD) its that im new to computer gaming so i decided to buy this cpu but no one in the store said that i had to buy a heatsink because the stock one sucked , so i installed the stock one and tested my brand new cpu designed for overclock at 4.00 in prime 95 and went to get some food.

But when i returned each individual core temp was 95c! i was using core temp , so i inmediately stoped the test but the damage was done , i feel that i damaged my brand new cpu maybe in a long term or reduced its power i dont know , i only feel like an ass for being so ignorant .

Is it possible that i damaged my cpu from that test ? The pc seems to work fine except for a freeze while playing skyrym one time and a really slow startup of windows 7 like 1 minute to go to the desktop but if i click something it doesnt respond some like after a minute or so. I am using a regular HDD not SSD . Getting a hyper 212 tomorrow :(

Solution
The Thermtrip for the Intel Core i5-3570K is at 130°C (At this temperature the processor will shut down to stop it from being damage). Thermtrip can't be turned off or bypass. So unless your voltage was very high than you dont have thing to worry about.

I dont think you have damaged the CPU
these modern 22nm chips got thermal shutdown built in when it reaches to max it switches of the cpu to prevent damage.
But by leaving it at 95c for a while you could have shorten its life a little. Still this will work and should last years
Be more careful next time.
Thanks

I was checking the bios and that shutdown thingy was disabled XD my problem is my logic is saying that maybe i just lowered the performance of the cpu by overheating it but thanks for the answer it just im new at this things , so if i hadnt any freezes or somthing like that everything is like brand new ? Yay , and whats with the game freezing and very slow windows boot up?

I will give you some advice, if you are such a beginner at this stuff that you don;t even know the correct heatsink to use, then please stay away from overclocking until you have a much better idea of what you are doing. I don't want to sound rude but you are highly likely to do something wrong and when you do it's going to hurt you in the wallet.
