hi, just wanted some feedback on my planned build and if anyone would change anything? thanks :p

amd 8350
asus crosshair v formula mobo
2x club 7870
ocz fatal1ty 750w psu
128gb ssd
16gb ram 2000mhz
h80 cooler
650d case

Any particular reason for AMD CPU? Also make sure those 7870s are Tahiti LE ones. So pick 7870 XT ones instead of vanilla 7870s. Though XTs are big cards and i don't know if they will fit in your case for sure

thanks for reply, the reason I went with AMD is it was cheeper than the i5, plus the 8-cores will come in handy for video encoding, plus gaming in a few years time :D EDIT: the 7870 s are LE for sure :)

Intels have quick synch tech for faster video encoding and an 3570k will cost you not much more than a FX-8350. A 3570k is better for gaming, runs cooler, overclocks better and performs not much worse in compute stuff. Or maybe you can consider something like 3550p or 3470. Also keep in mind what i said about GPUs please

hello, will look at the 3570k and I will look in my friends 650d for room for gpu, bit i believe the hdd cage can be removed to allow big gpu s, thanks mate :p
