I got a "Radeon HD 4550" but Windows reads "Radeon HD 4350". On the first run Windows 32 bits reads 4550 but when I changed to 64 bits it reads 4350. Am I ripped off by Bestbuy? In the package it comes with a low profile bracklet but the ports are not corresponding to the ports on the card. I brought this on "Black Friday" 2 years ago. Is the specs required?

It seems that you have 4550. Readings are not what they should be in terms of memory bandwith, memory clock and DEVICE ID. They all point to 4350 but haven't found xfx 4550 gpu'z screenshot that is different than yours. It looks like that xfx 4550 and 4350 are same cards with different rom versions, and that's all.

Hi,

There are lot of versions of same chip. It may be that you got radeon from different manufacturer that the one you ordered so it will differ in construction.
Install latest drivers from AMD site.
Run GPU-Z and see what it tells you.

Best regards :)

Download GPU-Z, run it, and post screenshot here...

Difference between those two is small.
4550 should have this kind of results in GPU-Z
Memory Clock: 800 MHz (1600 DDR)
Memory Bandwidth: 12.8 GB/sec
FLOPS: 96 GFLOPS
Pixel Fill Rate: 2400 MPixels/sec
Texture Fill Rate: 4800 MTexels/sec

4350
Memory Clock: 500 MHz (1000 DDR)
Memory Bandwidth: 8 GB/sec
FLOPS: 96 GFLOPS
Pixel Fill Rate: 2400 MPixels/sec
Texture Fill Rate: 4800 MTexels/sec

The effect was temporary and I don't like posting thread like this :p. Also does it count if it was overpriced? I got this for about $75 at Bestbuy and Newegg sells for it about $54.
