Yikes!!! The motherboard on my Acer Aspire 5720 blew up. I needed more storage space anyway, so instead of repairing it, I got a Lenovo Idea Pad Y560 with tons of storge.
But, as my luck goes with computers, after only a few months, it got knocked off my desk, which ruined the screen and rendered it useless.
I am in too much $$ already- and was wondering... If i replaced the motherboard on the Acer, could I take the hard drive from the Lenovo and put it in the Acer.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated!!!
