Can I download a apps onto my android?

Hi so my younger sister got a nabi for Christmas it works fine and all , but she can't access google play. I was wondering if there's anyway I can transfer apps from another android device onto it ? Is there any simple ways ?, because I'm not that good with computers . Thanks and if so could u ansewr asap.

Click the following link that explains the different methods to install apps in Android. For your situation read the "Sideloading" section.

"APK" refers to the file extension for android apps. Download android apps from a website that allows you to download the apk file to your computer. Then use sideloading to install from the PC to the android device. You can download apk file to your PC from the following site (there are others as well):
