So for starters, when I built it (the first time) I accidentally put 2 motherboard risers in my case that weren't being used to screw in my motherboard, and it caused a grounding/shortage issue I suppose, because it wouldn't turn on. I then rebuilt it and that is when I found out I had 2 extra risers not being used. After I finished building it the second time everything seemed to work correctly, as it turned on and I could get to the BIOS. But then when I go to boot to my windows CD I get blue HORIZONTAL lines across my screen and soon my display goes black. I know it's not my graphics card, as I tried an old card I had and it does the same thing. What is wrong? Any ideas? Did I damage my motherboard?
Just built my new custom computer, and have a problem! HELP!

There is a good chance you motherboard is damaged. But Are you trying to boot it off the motherboards graphics or you graphics card?
