Thats it, weeks ago my graphic card started to have some issues. When playing and only playing, sometimes it turns into black screen and it completely freezes my pc. Sometimes it auto-resets itselfs and sometimes I have to do a manual reset.

The audio gets bugged and it turns into a repetitive noise.

I tried few things, I checked my CPU and its totally fine, and I even tried to change the GPU to the second PCI slot(the graphic card ran fine for 1 week, after that it failed again, so I changed it back to the first PCI slot, ran fine for 1 day and today is failing again).

Before this card I had the gtx560 from asus as well and it didnt give me any error.

My power suply is 750W, but I guess its enough for a gtx680.

Now im confused and im not sure if the error is the graphic card, the motherboard or the power supply, anyone could know the problem?

If its the graphic card im gonna RMA it. Thanks!

What is the brand/model of your power sup? It is hard to tell what is wrong in a situation like this but this reminds me of a couple of possible reasons:
- low quality power sup
- ram failure
- damaged motherboard
- damaged GPU

Can you try your graphics card in a friend's PC? Also check your admin logs from control panel, sometimes you might get some clues of what has stopped working or creates problems from there.

Im gonna test my old gtx560, if it gives me the same error I will discard the possibility of damaged GPU. If it doesnt get any error I will RMA the gtx680.

Is there any way to know if my motherboard is damaged? Any visual sign or sth? The same for the psu, any method to test if it lacks energy? The psu has 750W and it worked fine till now.

The temps are fine, nothing abnormal. And the message I get is from Nvidia drivers and it says sth about the nvidia drivers has stopped working and recovered.

But I think its not about graphic drivers versions, the gpu failed with 3 or 4 different nvidia patches but Im not sure. The message appears just after I reset the computer.

what if your PSU can't supply enough power to your 680? Many trash brand supplies can't offer what they claim to. That's why it is better to tell us what brand and model it is. Also like Jack asked earlier, what are the temps on your GPU?

Try using alternate power connectors to the graphics card and see if that makes a difference(if you have alternate). If not try using the 4 pin molex to 6 or 8 pin connectors that most graphics cards come with. Could be the psu isn't putting out enough power on a particular rail.

Looking at that site technoholic its pretty darn sparse for info :). The most i gleaned from there was that it doesn't even have a 80 plus certification. I wouldn't touch that psu with a pole strapped to a pole. Most overlooked thing i find in other peoples computers are the psu.

On the other hand this rewiev in a spanish site says it is a good quality PSU

That's what i have found searching the net though we can't say for sure if it is a legit site with legit rewievers :)

I have always stuck with corsair. Never had a single problem with any of their stuff. Tried Enermax and ocz but they seemed kind of hit and miss. If my wife wouldn't rip some unmentionable body part off me I would pick up corsairs newer digital psu which looks really cool.
