Hi guys, recently my computer has been crashing (Sometimes with a blue screen sometimes without one) when rendering videos in any format..please help!

My computer specs

EVGA FTW GTX 670

AMD 8-core FX8120 3.6 GHZ CPU(OC'ed to 3.6)

8gb of RAM

Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-650 650W Power Supply

ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

This is a good computer and it shouldnt be crashing when rendering videos, i'm not doing anything in the background. (I realise my CPU is a potential bottleneck)

Have you tried rendering without the CPU being overclocked? I have read that could be a potential problem when rendering in Vegas. Do you have plenty of free disk space?

Are you using an aftermarket cooler, or the stock one? Use a software like CoreTemp to check your core temperatures. If it's reaching 80C, that's your problem right there. It's overheating, so put your CPU back on stock speeds, it's a bad idea to overclock with stock coolers, or coolers that aren't good enough to cool that well.

Well you don't have a fan...which pretty mandatory, especially if you're using hyperthreading programs such as video editors.
