Hello there,
I feel I may be close to buying a new PC and just want to do some final checks on this build.
CPU: i5 3470 3.2ghz
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-MX USB3
RAM: 4GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (1x4GB)
Hard Disk Drive: 500 GB SATA III
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
GPU: 7850 2gb
PSU: 550W Corsair VS
Case: EZCool Mesh ATX (I'm still wondering if I should spend another £20 on the Xigmatek Asgard 382, it looks cooler but it doesn't add any function).
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Total: £563.71
I know it only has 4gb RAM, and the usual is eight, but as far as I can tell games don't normally use over two and in about 6 months time I'll get another 4 gigs for my birthday.
Also, the motherboard isn't very knew as it uses SATA II, but if the intel chipset is changing I can't seem to justify spending a fortune on it. Plus, I'm pretty patient when it comes to loading and booting times.
So, what fps do you think it will get on the top-end games and what's wrong?
Don't...
