My computer was making a humming grinding kind of sound and i knew it was coming from the liquid cooling. I checked the CPU temp and it was getting a lot hotter than normal so i took the cooling unit down to look at it. I wiped off the thermal compound cause it was old and figured id need to put a new cooling unit on really soon anyway. I put the cooling unit back on and started up the computer and with in 5 seconds it shut back down. Tried again and same thing. Everything is hooked up right nothings different. What did change is i hear the humming/grinding noise in the cooling unit but now it has a water moving sound kind of. I cant figure out whats causing it to shut right back off.
Computer shutting down with in 5 seconds of turning on.
