ASUS 7850 - HDMI Audio Disables on Restart

I'm using an ASUS 7850 2GB card currently on driver 13.1 stable (beta produced some artifacts). The issue was introduced as early as the 12 series drivers. Each time I restart my computer (Win7), the HDMI audio disappears from my Playback Devices section in the Windows Sound menu. The device is listed as AMD High Definition Audio Device. There is another High Definition Audio Device listing that does not have this issue.

To resolve it, I need to disable and then re-enable the device under Device Manager each time my computer restarts. I have uninstalled both the audio and graphics drivers while choosing to delete the software, then re-installed both drivers using Catalyst. Last time I tried this, the audio device stayed after my very first restart, but none after. I'm thinking that Windows could be overriding the AMD driver somehow after a restart, or if there's a way to reset the Sound control panel that could be worth a shot. Any suggestions? Thank you.
